Alan Gentry

Senior Director

Alan Gentry is a Senior Director in the BTS Sales and Marketing Practice and works out of the Chicago office. He partners with client sales organizations, sales leaders and sales excellence departments to help them achieve their desired results faster, which includes helping to create and cascade new sales strategies and/or initiatives, assess performance, build new sales capabilities with sellers and sales managers through learning journeys and transform their sales organizations. While at BTS, Alan has led, developed, and delivered learning programs for several Fortune 500 companies. His experience includes Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Industrial, and Service companies.

Prior to joining BTS, Alan worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals for 19 years, where he was a field sales representative, hospital representative, district sales manager, interim regional manager, and director of leadership development. As a director of leadership development, he developed and led training for Pfizer’s sales leadership and field sales teams. Alan grew up in Indiana and graduated from Purdue University. He currently resides in Chicago, Illinois with his wife and has 3 adult children. He enjoys attending his kid's college games, golfing, biking, and traveling.
